The Rising Serpent
This is a special mala made for a lovely male client of mine. I just adored the colours that came in to play with this piece, rising like a snake with a potent energy weaving upwards from the root chakra. I saw it very much akin to Kundalini energy rising hand in hand with one’s sexuality and innate power at the same time, a driving force between the two.
Below I have covered some of the properties of the crystals, but please note that are ‘just rough/basic guidelines’ it is more important that one establishes one’s own relationship with crystals and the mala, for they hold their own kind of ‘personality’ with the myriad of energies flowing through them and we are all as unique as each crystal and therefore no relationship will ever be the same between the same piece and someone else.

The healing powers of Turquoise also improve the mental state overall by increasing all of the following positive mental characteristics: serenity, creativity, empathy, positive thinking, sensitivity, intuition, happiness wisdom all of which result in a calmer state that leads to greater self-realization.
Because the Tibetan people revere and need the Yak, every single bit of the animal is used upon its death.
But when it comes to the sacred Yak bone jewellery used in their Buddhist traditions, the rules are strict: the animals must die of natural means.
This is because the negative karma that is created from slaughtering the animal outweighs the positive effects of spiritual engravings of mantras such as Om Mani Padme Om.
When something serves a spiritual purpose, it is believed that it should be as pure as possible.
Practising Buddhists also view Yak jewellery as a reminder of the impermanence of life; it’s a way to help them dive deeper into their spiritual quest…a familiar theme throughout much of Buddhism.
It stimulates the third eye and crown chakras enhancing one’s insight and intuition and aiding telepathy and clairvoyance. This golden form of Mica has an energy that supports one so that one has the confidence and willpower to tackle and solve problems and life’s challenges.
