Let’s Find Our Inner Healer
This Friday 2nd March we have the worm moon, or simply the Full Moon in Virgo.
Why is it called the Worm Moon? At the time of this spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. This is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.
I just actually saw two robins outside my front window and with our area being flooded with parakeets this is quite rare as they tend to frighten away the smaller native birds.
So let’s move on to what this Full Moon in Virgo will mean generally for us. If you wish to find more specific information relating to your actual star sign there is a wealth of information out there with our friend Google.
Full Moon In Virgo
We have Spring just around the corner and with this time of year sometimes we feel like we are waiting for something or sometimes it is the anticipation of Spring and relief of brighter, sunnier times.
Virgo the Virgin is one of the wisest signs! They are wise beyond their age or this lifetime, they carry the wisdom and knowledge from their past lives that are intuitive as well as practical and logical. Virgo energy is a mix of Earth and Air.
We are being drawn to flourish as with nature at this time of year, we’ve been sewing the seeds over the last few months, it’s time to nourish them, metaphorically and literally. Bring in the integrity in everything you do, immerse yourself with full consciousness and devotion in all that you do.
Everything that needs to be healed would normally come to the surface during any Full Moon so notice what you have have been feeling past few days. Those are the things that needed to be released and healed during this Full moon.
Since Virgo is all about Health, Diet, Healing, Routine, Order, Discipline, Practicality these are the things that would normally come to the surface that might look like your current challenges! That’s exactly that need to be healed so that your inner healer can emerge and keep it practical and real.
It is, however, time to embrace the sign of Virgo, bringing with this purification, integrity, devotion and integration in all forms, but as always starting with ourselves, so let’s do this.
This Full Moon can very much affect our digestive system, our gut, gut feelings, intuition. Take time to go within, to feel more whole, connected, enjoy your essence, your spirit, who you really are. In order to help with this, embrace simplicity and balance. Bring forth pure and honest intentions, be present, knowing that what is happening now is meant to be, there is always a bigger picture, something to learn, something positive to be born from now. Set your focus on what you wish to grow, from within and out and free your mind from emotional obstacles, from the past, let go of niggles and be present in any and all changes be they physical, spiritual, emotional or sexual.
One way to get in touch with your inner healer is to be at one with Gaia or you can tune in with Virgo orientated colours, chakras, symbols etc, such as:
